Andreas Noodt

German Public Auditor, German Tax Advisor, Of Counsel

After several years as a commercial manager at a plant engineering company and in the corporate audit department of an international food company, I decided to move into auditing at the age of 34. This led me to FIDES in 1994 and I have never regretted the move. I completed my German Tax Advisor examination in 1997 and went on to qualify as German Public Auditor two years later, in 1999. I have been a partner at FIDES since 2001 and Of Counsel since 2024.

My main responsibilities are auditing and supporting medium-sized companies, especially those with an international focus. I am also a quality control auditor in accordance with Section 57a (3) WPO and audit other auditing firms. In addition to my work for FIDES, I hold a teaching position in the Department of Economics at the University of Bremen and lecture in audit and assurance as part of the regular study programs. I have been a member of the main technical committee of the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer in Deutschland e.V. (IDW Auditing and Accounting Board) since 2007.

Trust is to be reliable in word and deed.
