Tobias Kersten

Since completing my legal and business administration studies, my professional activities have been focused on the interfaces between business administration, law, and tax law. After graduating, I worked in an insolvency administration firm and several large auditing companies where I was employed in various restructuring departments, among other departments. Since then, my two main areas of expertise have been year-end auditing and entrepreneurial consulting. I started working for FIDES in 2007 and became a partner in 2009.

Here, my focus is on supporting capital market-oriented companies and partnerships as well as on group accounting and international accounting in accordance with IFRS standards. As Managing Director of FIDES Corporate Finance GmbH, I am also responsible for the Entrepreneurial Consulting division and thus for the areas of strategy consulting, transaction support (M&A), restructuring consulting, optimisation or outsourcing of corporate management systems and corporate financing. Thanks to several years of intense involvement with restructuring projects and insolvency-related consulting, I also work as a court-approved expert.
